    We are very pleased with the plaque we ordered. The ordering process was very easy to do, I did call in with a few questions which were answered politely and thouroughly. We wanted to have a plaque to recognize a husband and wife from Hillsboro that generously donated money to the Library. We were able to use these funds to add a handicap LIFT and renovate our children’s room and other areas of the building.     Please choose between Precision Tooled Solid Bronze or Cast Bronze. Not sure of the difference? Read Here: Cast vs. Tooled

    Only Precision Tooled Plaques can be made thin, such as 1/8" for benches and such.

    *Logo Option

    Please choose if you need a logo on the plaque. All logos need to be of a high quality and resolution. Logos found on websites are usually not suitable.

    All photo sizes up to 10". Larger sizes will incur an additional charge. Please let us know which photo option you prefer. Quality of the photo does matter. BAS Relief takes the longest and is the most expensive. Colorlast is the easiest and less expensive. Etched photos are the most common.

    *Background Color

    Please choose a background color option. You can choose between a Standard Color, an Optional Color from our catalog of colors, or a custom PMS color.

    *Black Background Texture

    Please choose a background texture. Stipple is the most common.

    *Brown Background Texture

    Please choose a background texture. Stipple is the most common.

    *Dark Brown Background Texture

    Please choose a background texture. Stipple is the most common.

    *Dark Oxide Background Texture

    Please choose a background texture. Stipple is the most common.

    *Duranodic Bronze Background Texture

    *Plaque Finish

    Please choose finish option. Gloss provides the most protection and is recommended for outdoor plaques sitting on the ground. Semi Gloss is recommended for outdoor plaques that are mounted vertically.

    *Rosettes

    Please choose a rosette to cover your screws. These rosettes are attached using a very small amount of silicone. Even if you do not intend to use the rosettes, you will receive some anyway just in case.

    Minimum Plaque Height for Stake Mount is 4"

    *Post Mounts

    Minimum Plaque Height for Post Mount is 8"

  • *Text Input

    You can either choose between a paragraph box where you can just type in all of your text or you can choose to enter text by the line. The paragraph text feature does not maintain line breaks, so you may need to explain in the notes below how you want the text laid out.

    *FACSIMILES

    Some customers need plaques faster than they can be produced. If you have a ceremony coming up then we can ship out a facsimile hard proof right away. Also, if you are designing a large and/or complicated plaque, you may want to see a hard proof before production. Facsimiles are digitally printed onto a solid core substrate.

    *Processing Time

    We do not recommend you schedule any ceremony or event until you have the plaque in hand.

    Ceremony Date

    Please let us know if you have a ceremonial date. This does not guarantee delivery by that date. Feel free to email us first prior to placing an order to ask if the in hand date is possible.

  • *Cancelling Orders

    If you need to cancel an order the time frame is important to understand.
    Any cancellation and paid with credit card - 3% Fee
    Cancellation after proof process - 10% Fee
    Cancellation after proof is approved and order is in production - 50% Fee
    Cancellation after production is complete but prior to shipping - 100% Fee

    *Credit Card Processing Fees

    We continue to absorb all credit card fees; however, if for some reason a customer places an order and then has to cancel the order the refunded amount will have a 3% fee. This is because the credit card processors no longer return the processing fees for refunded orders and we can not absorb these losses.

  • *Account Creation & Misc

    During checkout in the Billing and Shipping area there will be a spot to choose a username and password. All orders require an account. We do this to prevent bots from placing orders. If you prefer not to have an online account, or if you have any difficulty in placing an order, please send order details to sales@americancastbronzeplauques and we will process the order manually.
