American Cast Bronze Plaques, LLC · Effective October 22, 2026
This website is operated by American Cast Bronze Plaques, LLC (“ACBP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 10 Ferry Street, Suite 407, Concord, NH 03301. By using this website, requesting a quote, approving a proof, or placing an order with us by any means (website, email, phone, or purchase order), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you are ordering on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
These Terms apply to every order regardless of any conflicting terms on a customer purchase order, unless we have agreed to different terms in writing signed by ACBP.
We provide cast bronze, cast aluminum, etched, and precision-tooled plaques, memorial plaques, dimensional letters, ADA signage, and related architectural signage, handcrafted in the USA by skilled artisans. Every custom product is made to order. Because each piece is cast or etched individually, minor variation in texture, color, and finish is inherent to the process and is not a defect.
We make every effort to display product colors and images accurately. We cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any color, finish, or texture will match the finished product.
Prices shown on the website, in the Plaque Designer, or in the online quote tool are estimates until confirmed by an ACBP representative. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and fully refund any order placed at an incorrect price before production begins. Written quotes are valid for 60 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice for orders not yet placed.
Discounts for military, nonprofit, charity, public school, religious, government, and first-responder customers require verification of eligibility and cannot be combined with other offers.
Every order for a custom plaque receives a proof at no additional charge. Customers who request a proof before placing an order may receive one proof at no up-front charge; existing customers always receive a free proof. We may require a deposit before design work begins, and we require full payment before an order is released to production unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Complicated layouts (such as long donor lists, multiple design concepts, or extensive artwork cleanup) may carry a $100 design fee. The design fee is credited toward your purchase when you order.
We accept purchase orders from government agencies, public schools, and institutions. Purchase-order terms are subject to our written acceptance; these Terms govern in the event of a conflict. Payment on approved purchase orders is due within the terms stated on our invoice.
We take extra precaution and care during the design and proofing process because cast and etched products are permanent. Every custom product receives a proof before production, including products for which you supply your own design, because we frequently make adjustments so the design will cast or etch properly. Address plaques and home/garden products are the exception: they are produced with hand-placed letters using a different process and do not receive a proof. Quality assurance for address plaques is judged from ten (10) feet away, so minor imperfections or slight letter shifting are not considered defects.
Your responsibility. It is your responsibility to read and check the proof thoroughly. You must verify:
Approval. Proof approval must be given in writing — by email reply or through the online approval process on our website. Verbal or telephone approval is not accepted. Once you approve a final proof, you have authorized production, and the plaque will be produced exactly as shown.
Approval deadline. Proofs must be approved within 5 days of being sent. Orders with proofs not approved within that time are placed on hold and lose their place in the production schedule; lead times restart from the date of approval.
Renditions. Small corrections — spelling, grammar, punctuation, or adding a few words — are free and unlimited. Beyond those, you receive up to two additional renditions at no charge. A rendition is a new design, a layout change, repositioning of text, changing a logo, or any change other than the small corrections above. Additional renditions are $20.00 each. If you request multiple proofs or renditions and then decide not to place an order, you are responsible for the cost of the proofs and renditions.
We do not proofread. We do not check spelling, grammar, or layout. Customer-provided layouts may have been altered so they will cast properly; double-check those as well.
Bas relief, flat relief, PhotoRelief, and photo plaques. Bas relief proofs can take 4–20 weeks depending on season and workload, PhotoRelief about 6 weeks, and flat relief a couple of weeks. The artist works from the single photo you supply and will not merge or reconstruct images; the better the photo, the better the result. A 100% likeness is not possible — we aim for roughly 80% accuracy. After the initial relief proof you receive two additional renditions; each proof after the third is $75.00. There are no refunds for the photo portion of an order if you are unhappy with the outcome and choose another method or remove it.
What a proof shows. A proof represents layout, wording, and proportions. It is not an exact representation of color, finish, or texture. Chemical-oxidized and hand-applied finishes vary from piece to piece. Sculpted bas-relief portraits and photo reproductions are an artist’s interpretation of the image supplied; likeness is approved at the sculpt-proof stage and is not grounds for a remake after casting.
Changes after approval. Any change requested after proof approval is treated as a new order at full price. We cannot stop or alter a casting once production has begun.
The vast majority of products arrive exactly as expected. Rarely, a customer notices a mistake that they made on the proof. Even more rarely, a customer notices a mistake that we made. Because of the cost to design, produce, and ship a cast plaque, we have a strict policy on errors.
If an error was present on the proof you approved, the error is yours and the plaque will not be remade at our expense. If we made an error after you approved a final proof, we will remake the plaque unless the error is small or inconsequential. We deem the following to be too small or inconsequential to require a remake:
This is not something you need to worry about when ordering. It exists to protect us from remaking an expensive plaque because of a missing period.
By submitting any logo, seal, emblem, photograph, artwork, or text, you represent and warrant that you own it or have permission to reproduce it on a permanent plaque, and that its use does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other right of any third party. You agree to indemnify and hold ACBP harmless from any claim arising from artwork or text you supplied.
We reserve the right to decline any order whose content we consider unlawful, infringing, or objectionable.
Showing your project. Unless you tell us otherwise, we may photograph your finished plaque and display it — along with the approved proof design — on our website, in our portfolio and product literature, and in quotes and submittals to other customers as an example of our work. We will not share your contact details, pricing, or any text, logo, or photograph you supplied except as it appears on the plaque itself. You may opt out at any time by checking the box on your proof approval or by emailing sales@americancastbronzeplaques.com, and we will remove the project from future use.
Before proof approval: A paid order may be cancelled by written request. The refund will be the amount paid less a $100 proof and design fee and a 5% payment-processing fee.
After proof approval: Orders cannot be cancelled. Proof approval authorizes production, and materials and labor are committed immediately.
Because every product is custom-made to your approved proof and has no resale value, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason once production has begun, whether the request arises from customer error or our error. Our remedy for a qualifying error under Section 6, carrier damage under Section 11, or a warranty defect under Section 12 is repair, refinishing, or remake of the product — not a refund.
All production and delivery times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Precision casting does not allow for rush orders. Lead times begin at written proof approval and receipt of payment, whichever is later, and do not include transit time.
Do not schedule a dedication, ceremony, or event that depends on delivery of a plaque if the event is less than 6 weeks away. If your event is close, we recommend ordering a facsimile. We are not liable for any cost, loss, or inconvenience arising from a plaque not arriving by a particular date, including missed events.
We ship only within the United States. Shipping is free on most orders to the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is billed at actual carrier cost. Oversized items may carry a surcharge that will appear on your quote.
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the address you provided. We are not responsible for packages after the carrier records delivery, including theft from a porch or loading dock.
You must open and inspect your plaque within 5 days of delivery, even if installation is months away. If the plaque was damaged in transit, email photos of the plaque and all packaging to sales@americancastbronzeplaques.com within 5 days of delivery and keep the packaging until we tell you otherwise. We will file the claim with the carrier and remake the plaque at no charge to you. Damage reported after 5 days cannot be claimed against the carrier and is not covered.
Cast bronze, cast aluminum, etched, and precision-tooled plaques installed on a wall, post, monument, or other vertical or elevated surface carry a lifetime warranty against breakage and defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as the plaque remains in its original installed location. If a covered defect occurs, we will refinish or replace the plaque at no charge. This warranty is the sole remedy; it does not include removal, reinstallation, shipping to us, or any consequential cost.
Not covered:
Except for the express warranty in this Section, our products are provided without any other warranty, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Installation is your responsibility. All plaques ship with screws or mounting hardware. Most plaques with wood, solid-wall, or hollow-wall mounts also include rosettes, which attach over the screw heads with the silicone we send; use it sparingly to avoid paint damage. Lost or replacement rosettes are $25.00 each plus shipping. All plaques require both mechanical attachment and construction adhesive, except stake- and post-mounted plaques. Mounting hardware and templates we supply are provided as a convenience; you are responsible for confirming that the substrate, anchors, and method are suitable and comply with local codes. Large, heavy, or overhead plaques should be installed by a qualified professional. We are not liable for damage to walls, monuments, or other property, or for injury, arising from installation or mounting failure.
The American Plaque Designer, online quote tool, and AI assistant are provided free to help you plan a plaque. Layouts, previews, and prices they generate are estimates and are not a proof or a binding quote. Designs, Design IDs, templates, fonts, and proof files created through our tools or by our staff are the property of ACBP; you receive a license to use them for the plaque you order from us. Text and artwork you supply remain yours.
All content on this website — text, photographs, designs, product images, the American Plaque Designer, and the “Solid Bronze. Solid American.” mark — is owned by or licensed to ACBP and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or use any part of it without our written permission.
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; to submit false or misleading information; to upload malicious code; to interfere with the site’s security; or to collect personal information of others. We may refuse service or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
Information on this site is provided for general guidance and may contain errors or omissions. We may correct information and cancel affected orders at any time. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices. Reviews and comments you submit may be used by us in any medium without compensation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACBP’s total liability for any claim arising from an order or from use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. In no event will ACBP, its owners, employees, contractors, or suppliers be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, missed events, installation or removal costs, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ACBP and its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or artwork, text, or images you supplied.
These Terms and every order are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us in writing and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it.
These Terms, together with your approved proof and invoice, are the entire agreement between you and ACBP for your order and supersede prior communications. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, material shortages, carrier failures, weather, or government action. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date; the version in effect when you approve your proof governs that order.
