What does ADA compliance actually require?
ADA-compliant signage requires raised tactile characters, Grade 2 Braille, specific font characteristics, and a 70% minimum contrast between characters and background. Mounting height is also regulated — signs must be installed at 48 to 60 inches above finished floor to the baseline of the lowest tactile character. We design every ADA sign to meet these requirements out of the box.
How do you handle submittals?
For every project, we provide shop drawings, material specifications, mounting details, and finish samples for architect and owner approval before production begins. Our submittal packages are formatted to align with standard CSI specification sections so they can be incorporated directly into your project documentation.
