This Plaque Designer is optional and you do not need to use it to order a plaque. This tool is useful to help design your plaque so you can give us a better idea what you are imagining.
Scroll down to the bottom of these instructions and where you can choose the same Height and Width for the plaque you added to the cart.
Click on Text
Choose one of the preset text layouts. We recommend just choosing “Add Heading”
Once you have an item, like the text, on the screen – you can click on the blank area off of the text and then click on the text to move the text box, or to resize it larger.
The default font is Roboto. Click on that and choose one of our preferred fonts.
To the right of the Font is the Font Size. 18 points is the smallest because that represents .25″, which is the smallest if you use all uppercase letters. If you want to use lowercase letters, than please use a minimum font size of 28.
To the right of Font Size is justification and the default is Left Justified. Most plaques use Centered Justified.
To the right of Justification is Lowercase to Uppercase. This allows you to quickly change your text to all uppercase.
To the right of Lowercase to Uppercase are your Bold and Italics options. Not all fonts have all options.
To the right of Bold and Italics is your line spacing. You can either add multiple “Add Headings,” or just press enter after each line and use the line spacing to spread your lines apart.
Remember to save some space around the plaque edges for the border and if you need any rosettes.
If you have a logo, you can click on Photos and then click on Image Upload. The image must be of high of enough quality and resolution or the system will not allow the upload.
Once complete you can click on PROCESS in the upper right corner and the design will be uploaded to the cart. You can also click on FILE and you will have other upload and download options.
