If your house sits close to the road, you don’t need the biggest sign on the site. The Bayou Vista standard one line plaque is the right-sized version of this design, with a single line of up to six characters at 4 inches tall. The fleur-de-lis emblem still sits at the top, as it does on the estate size, but the overall sign is smaller.

Who it suits

Buyers tend to be on in-town lots, cul-de-sacs, or anywhere the sidewalk is a short walk from the front door. Four-inch characters are easy to read at that range. For a deep setback or a busy road, step up to the estate version, which uses 5.5-inch numbers.

Color choices for the Bayou Vista standard one line plaque

There are six finishes: Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Black/Silver, Bronze/Gold, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Pewter/Silver. The one photographed is Black/Silver, with the silver emblem and the number 8939 on a black field. Black/Gold warms that up. The copper and bronze options are less stark.

Cast aluminum with a five-year warranty

The Bayou Vista standard one line plaque is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum, and aluminum won’t rust. Over the casting goes an all-weather protective coating, backed by a five-year warranty. Your characters are cast into the sign, not printed on it. Because the piece is made to your order, it can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned after you submit it, so check the number before you do.

A Bayou Vista standard one line plaque is a simple fix for a daily annoyance. If you’d like to see it beside the other staked designs, the lawn address plaques page lists them all. The whole range of house and mailbox signs is at address and home signs.
