Some addresses are numbers, and some are names. The Double Line standard one line plaque handles either. Its single line takes up to five numbers at 4.5 inches, or up to 17 characters at 2 inches if you’d rather spell out a street or a family name. It’s a plain rectangle with no emblem, so the text is the whole design.
Numbers or letters, not both
The two layouts share one line, so you choose. Big numbers are the usual pick for a house that needs to be found from the road. The 17-character option is for a name, a street, or a short phrase, and it reads well from the sidewalk rather than the car. If you want both the number and the street, the two-line version of this design has a line for each.
Color options on the Double Line standard one line plaque
Eleven finishes are offered: Antique Brass, Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Black/Silver, Black/White, Bronze/Gold, Green/Gold, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Pewter/Silver, Red/Gold, and White/Gold. The photo shows gold numbers on a dark bronze background. Black/White is the high-contrast choice. The brass and copper options sit more quietly in front of brick.
Cast, coated, and warranted
Each sign is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum. Because it’s aluminum, it won’t rust. The all-weather protective coating over the casting comes with a five-year warranty. Your text is cast into the sign and is permanent. For that reason, a Double Line standard one line plaque can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned once ordered. Count your characters, check the spelling, then place the order.
The Double Line standard one line plaque also has an estate-size sibling that goes to 7-inch numerals on the same plain rectangle. To compare it against every other staked design in one place, see the lawn address plaques, and for simpler styles, the economic home plaques.
