Two rows of text on one big lawn sign: that’s the Sheridan Extra Grande 2-Line plaque. It suits a long driveway, a shared private road, or any house where the number alone doesn’t tell a visitor enough. The top line holds the house number in 4-inch characters, and the second line carries a street or family name underneath.
How the two lines are laid out
Line 1 takes up to 5 characters at 4 inches tall. That’s sized for the house number. Line 2 takes up to 15 characters at 1.75 inches. A street name like Ella Terrace fits with room to spare. The plaque in the photo reads 18162 over Ella Terrace in gold lettering, and that’s the usual arrangement. You could also put a family name on the lower line instead.
Sheridan Extra Grande 2-Line plaque: aluminum, coated, cast in the USA
The Sheridan Extra Grande 2-Line plaque is cast from recycled aluminum, so rust isn’t a worry. It’s made in the USA and finished with an all-weather protective coating that carries a five-year warranty. Both lines are cast into the plaque, so there’s nothing on the surface to peel.
Finishes
Pick from Forged Copper, Black/Gold, Bronze Verdigris and Bronze/Gold. Gold lettering on a dark ground, as in the photo, reads well from the road at dusk. Bronze Verdigris gives a softer, weathered look if the house is older or the sign sits near stone.
Because every Sheridan Extra Grande 2-Line plaque is cast to your text, orders can’t be changed, cancelled or returned after they’re placed. Check the spelling of the street name and the digits in the number before you submit. If you only need the number, the one-line version of the same casting puts it in larger 5.5-inch characters. You’ll find both in the Signature Collection. You can also compare them with the rest of the lawn address plaques.
