The Alexandria memorial lawn plaque is a quiet way to mark a place that mattered to someone you’ve lost. It stands in a garden bed, beside a bench, or under a tree planted in their name. The words “In Memory Of” are already part of the casting, so you only supply the name and the years.

Two lines, cast for good

You get two lines of personalization. The first holds up to 17 characters and the second up to 14, both at 1.5 inches tall. Most families put a full name on the first line and birth and passing years on the second. The lettering isn’t printed or engraved. It’s cast into the aluminum itself, so it won’t wear away or peel.

What the Alexandria memorial lawn plaque is made of

Like every Alexandria memorial lawn plaque we sell, this one is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum, so it will not rust outdoors. An all-weather coating protects the color, and the finish carries a five-year warranty. You can choose from five color combinations: Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Green/Gold, Dark Bronze/Gold, or Pewter/Silver. The photo shows Green/Gold, which reads well against grass and plantings.

Ordering a memorial piece

Because this is a personalized casting, please read the name and dates over twice before you place the order. Once a personalized order goes in, it can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned. That’s hard to hear when you’re grieving, but it’s also why the lettering lasts: it’s part of the metal, not a label on top.

If you’d rather mount the same design on a wall, the Alexandria memorial lawn plaque has a matching wall version in our personalized plaques collection. And for a cemetery marker or a dedication that calls for cast bronze, our memorial bronze plaques are the step up.
