Set on the wall of a porch, a chapel, or a garden shed, the Alexandria memorial wall plaque keeps a name where you’ll see it every day. The design includes the words “In Memory Of,” and you add two lines of your own. It’s the wall-mounted version of the Alexandria lawn memorial, with the same casting and the same finishes.

Personalizing the Alexandria memorial wall plaque

You have 17 characters on the first line and 14 on the second, all at 1.5 inches tall. That’s enough for a name and a pair of years, or a name and a short phrase like “Beloved Father.” Write the text out and count the characters before you order. Everything you enter is cast permanently into the aluminum.

Finish choices

Five finishes are offered: Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Green/Gold, Dark Bronze/Gold, and Pewter/Silver. The bronze-toned version in the photo is a popular choice because it reads like traditional bronze. All five use an all-weather coating with a five-year warranty, and the aluminum underneath will not rust.

A few practical notes

The Alexandria memorial wall plaque is cast in the USA. Since the text is part of the casting, personalized orders can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned once they’re placed. Please proofread the name and dates, and ask someone else to read them too. A second reader catches what a grieving eye slides past, and that one check saves a lot of regret.

If the memorial will stand in a garden instead, the Alexandria memorial wall plaque has a lawn-mounted twin in the same collection. When a family needs a true bronze marker for a cemetery or a public dedication, our memorial bronze plaques are the next step. Cleaning advice for any finish is in our plaque care guide.
