Our aluminum composite panel signs are the workhorse of outdoor signage. Each panel is two sheets of pre-painted 0.15mm aluminum bonded to a polyethylene core, which gives you a flat, rigid, dent-resistant sign that weighs about a third of solid aluminum at the same thickness. We print your artwork directly onto the face with UV-cured ink and finish it with a clear protective coat, so there is no vinyl to peel and no laminate edge to lift.

This is the same material we use for the full-size facsimiles that accompany our cast bronze plaque orders, and it holds up in exactly the way a plaque customer expects: flat, square, and still readable years later.

Sizes, thickness, and pricing for aluminum composite panel signs

Enter your height and width in inches and the price updates instantly. Pricing is per square inch with a 144 sq in (12 × 12) minimum, and every size up to a full 48 × 96 in sheet is available. Choose 3mm for wall-mounted, framed, or post-mounted signs up to about 4 ft; choose 6mm when a sign hangs unsupported, spans more than 4 ft, or faces constant wind. Double-sided printing is available on both thicknesses for hanging and post signs read from either direction.

Two finishing options are offered at checkout: contour cutting to any closed shape (add 10%), or rounded corners (flat $10 setup). Square custom cuts are included at no charge. Shipping is built into the price — there is nothing added at checkout.

Where these signs work best

Real estate and construction site signs, storefront and parking signs, campus and trail maps, directional and wayfinding panels, safety and compliance notices, and any long-term outdoor message where a banner would sag and a coroplast sign would fade. Indoors they make clean, durable lobby and directory panels.

Keep text and logos at least 0.25 in from the edge; finished size may vary by up to 0.25 in from the cutting process. Upload print-ready artwork (PDF, AI, EPS, or 300 DPI images) with your order, or send us what you have and we will set it up for you. Need a proof first or have a question on size?
