A quote from Aristotle about the marvels of nature is cast into the face of this sign, with a line underneath for your own name. The Aristotle Garden personalized lawn plaque tends to go to readers and teachers, and to gardeners who like a little philosophy among the tomatoes. The photo shows it with the name ARMSTRONG, but that line is yours to fill.

How the Aristotle Garden personalized lawn plaque is made

The piece is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum. Aluminum won’t rust, so it can stay out through wet springs and salted winters. An all-weather coating goes on over the casting and carries a five-year warranty. Your name is cast into the metal along with the quote, so there is nothing to peel or fade off the surface.

One line, seventeen characters

There is a single personalization line. It holds up to 17 characters at 1.25 inches tall, which covers most surnames and a good many first names with “Garden” after them. Spaces and apostrophes count as characters. If your name runs long, a first name on its own usually fits with room to spare.

Four finishes

You can order the Aristotle Garden personalized lawn plaque in Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Bronze/Gold, or Green/Gold. Bronze/Gold is the one in the photo. Green/Gold tends to disappear into foliage and show up as a surprise when you walk the path, while Black/Gold stands out from across the yard. Antique Copper looks best against brick or weathered wood.

Gardeners who want a different sentiment can look through the rest of the Garden Collection, where the Dragonfly Garden Quote and Butterfly Rose Garden Quote plaques follow the same format. For a formal bed, one of the cast sundials sits well beside it. One last thing about the Aristotle Garden personalized lawn plaque: read your spelling back twice before you order, because the name is cast in and the piece can’t be changed or returned once the order is placed.
