Cast across the face of this sign is the line “Life is Short, Stop to Smell the Flowers along the Way”, with roses and butterflies around it and one line left open for a name. The Butterfly Rose Garden Quote plaque sells as a gift more than a self-purchase. Retirement, a new house, or a mother who finally has time for her beds are the usual occasions.

The one line you fill in

The saying is already part of the casting. You add a single line of up to 17 characters at 1.25 inches tall. In the photo that line reads “Danielle’s Garden”, which is 17 characters exactly, so a name of that length with “Garden” after it is right at the limit. Longer names work if you drop the word Garden, since the quote already makes the point.

Finish and colors for the Butterfly Rose Garden Quote plaque

Four color pairings are available: Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Bronze/Gold, and Green/Gold. The photo shows Bronze/Gold. On a sign with this much text, Black/Gold is the easiest to read from a few steps back, but Bronze/Gold and Antique Copper look more like an old garden ornament, which is what many buyers want.

Built to stay outside

The Butterfly Rose Garden Quote plaque is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum, and aluminum won’t rust. The quote, the border, and your name are all cast into the metal in one piece. An all-weather coating is applied over the casting and is warranted for five years. So it can stay in the ground year round.

If you’d rather write both lines yourself, the Butterfly Rose Garden plaque in the Garden Collection has the same border with two open lines and a Red/Gold option. For a different sentiment, the Dragonfly Garden Quote plaque reads “If You Truly Love Nature, You Will Find Beauty Everywhere”. The plaque cleaning guide covers how to wash cast plaques without harming the coating. Proofread the name on your Butterfly Rose Garden Quote plaque before you submit. Personalized castings can’t be modified, cancelled, or returned.
