Seven-inch numbers are the tallest you’ll find on a staked address sign here, and the Double Line estate one line plaque is one of the few designs that offers them. It’s a simple rectangle with up to five numbers across. There’s no emblem and no ornament, so all of the sign’s area goes to the number. People with long frontage, a corner lot on a fast road, or a home-based business tend to pick it.
Eleven colors to match the house
The Double Line estate one line plaque has one of the widest color ranges on the site. Choose from Antique Brass, Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Black/Silver, Black/White, Bronze/Gold, Green/Gold, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Pewter/Silver, Red/Gold, or White/Gold. The photo shows Black/White, which is about as legible as a sign gets. Red/Gold and Green/Gold give you something brighter against white siding, and the metallic finishes suit brick and stone.
What goes into the Double Line estate one line plaque
Each one is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum. Aluminum won’t rust, and an all-weather protective coating over the casting carries a five-year warranty. The numbers are cast into the sign as a single piece of metal, so there are no separate digits to loosen or fall off.
Ordering the right number
You have one line and five characters at 7 inches. Numbers only, so this isn’t the sign for a street name. If you need the name as well, look at the two-line versions of the Hartford or Hawthorne Oval. Double-check the digits before you submit, because a Double Line estate one line plaque is cast to order and can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned afterward.
For a smaller version of the same plain rectangle, the standard-size Double Line uses 4.5-inch numbers or 2-inch letters. All of the staked designs, with and without ornament, are collected under lawn address plaques, and the wall-mounted address plaques cover the same ground for the house itself.
