Every real bar has an ‘established’ date, even if it was the day the kegerator arrived. The Established Bar wall plaque records that date in cast aluminum, under a beer glass and your bar’s name. The photo shows ‘Big Dave’s Bar, Established 2013’, and that is the layout: name on top, year below.
Name line and year line
The name line holds up to 9 characters at 1.25 inches tall. Nine covers most first names with a possessive, so write yours out and count the spaces. Then enter the year in the second field. Both are cast into the plaque as raised letters, so nothing fades or peels.
Finish choices for the Established Bar wall plaque
There are seven: Antique Brass, Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Bronze Verdigris, Dark Bronze/Gold, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Pewter/Silver. The two-tone finishes put gold or silver letters on a dark field, which is the easiest to read in low bar light. Antique Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze are quieter and look like old tavern hardware. Bronze Verdigris adds a green patina for an aged look.
Inside or out
This is the standard wall version, and it goes up beside the door or behind the taps. Because it is cast from recycled aluminum in the USA, it will not rust on a covered patio either. The coating is an all-weather type, and it comes with a five-year warranty. An Established Bar wall plaque needs no upkeep beyond a wipe-down.
Check the name and the year on your Established Bar wall plaque twice. Personalized pieces are cast to order, so they can’t be modified, cancelled or returned after the order goes in.
If the date matters more than the glass, the Brew Pub Collection also has the Quality Crafted Beer arch plaque with a since-date line. For a house number in the same finish, see the wall-mounted address plaques.
