Life is short, take a walk with Riley. That’s what the sample sign says, and yours will end with your own dog’s name. These Take a Walk leash hooks are a cast wall sign with the phrase across the top. Three hooks beneath it take leashes, harnesses and the waste bag dispenser. Owners of one dog buy it for the hall by the door. Owners of two or three buy it for the same reason and argue over the hooks.

Adding the name

The personalized line holds up to 14 characters at 1.25 inches tall, so “Riley” fits with room to spare and “Sir Barksalot” just squeaks in. The name is cast into the aluminum along with the rest of the lettering. Since nothing is printed or applied afterward, there’s nothing to wear off. For the same reason, once your order is placed we can’t modify, cancel or return it. Check the spelling against the dog’s tag.

Finishes for the Take a Walk leash hooks

Seven color combinations are available. Black/Gold, Black/White and White/Black are the sharpest for reading from the doorway. Antique Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze are warmer and sit well with older hardware. Curry/White and Dark Blue/White add a lift of color in a plain hall. If your door hardware is brass, Antique Brass is the easy match.

Built to live by the back door

The Take a Walk leash hooks are cast from recycled aluminum, so a wet leash dripping on them every day won’t cause rust. The all-weather protective coating is warrantied for five years. Hang the sign on a covered porch if you’d rather keep muddy leashes outside altogether.

The Take a Walk leash hooks are made in the USA and belong to our Pet Collection. If you’d rather hang a photo of the dog than spell out the name, the matching plaque with a photo clip and single leash hook is listed with the other hooks and hangers.
