Nobody enjoys putting a sign like this in the yard, but the alternative is worse. The No Poop courtesy lawn stake says it with a dog silhouette and a bold NO, and no lecture. The casting does the talking, so it comes across as firm rather than angry. People along busy sidewalks and near dog parks order it the most, and we hear about corner lots too.
What the No Poop courtesy lawn stake is made of
It’s recycled aluminum, cast in the USA, and it won’t rust at the curb where the snowplow salt lands. The all-weather coating over it is warranted for five years. So you set it once and leave it, rather than replacing it every spring.
Two colors
The No Poop courtesy lawn stake comes in Black/Gold or Black/White. Black/White has the most contrast and reads from the far side of the street, which is where you want this message to land. Black/Gold is a bit more formal and matches the Black/Gold address plaques if you have one on the house.
Where to set it
Near the sidewalk edge, where a person with a leash sees it before the dog gets to the grass. If you have a long frontage, two of them a few yards apart cover it. There’s nothing to personalize on this one, so there’s nothing to proof; the design is fixed.
It’s one of the few pieces in the Pet Collection that isn’t a memorial. If you’d like your house number cast in the same metal and finish, the lawn address plaques share the Black/Gold and Black/White colors. Because the No Poop courtesy lawn stake has no custom text, it can be ordered without the spelling check the memorials need.
