On a house that sits a normal distance from the road, the Penbrook Grande 1-line wall plaque is the sensible size. It holds one line of up to five characters at 4 inches tall, inside the same decorative Penbrook border as the larger version. It goes up beside the door, over the garage, or on a gatepost, and it reads clearly from the sidewalk.
Cast from recycled aluminum
Like the rest of the collection, the plaque is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum and does not rust. Your number is cast into the plaque as part of the pattern. Then an all-weather protective coating goes over the surface, covered by a five-year warranty. The Penbrook Grande 1-line wall plaque needs no repainting and only an occasional rinse.
Finishes for the Penbrook Grande 1-line wall plaque
Choose from Forged Copper, Black/Gold, Bronze Verdigris, or Bronze/Gold. The photo shows the number 18276 in bronze on a dark background. If the plaque will hang in a shaded entry, Black/Gold gives you the most contrast. For a sunny brick or stone wall, Forged Copper or Bronze Verdigris blends in while still standing out enough to read.
Your five characters
Enter the house number in the single line, up to five characters. If the number has a letter or a half, include it; it counts toward the five. Should you want a street name too, the Penbrook Grande 2-line version has a 3-inch number line and a 14-character second line. Review your entry before ordering. Personalized plaques are cast to your text and can’t be modified, cancelled, or returned.
The Penbrook Extra Grande gives you 5.5-inch numbers in the same pattern if the house sits farther back. See the whole Penbrook family and its neighbors in the Signature Collection, or compare every style we carry on the address and home signs page. For a standard lot, the Penbrook Grande 1-line wall plaque hits the balance between size and readability.
