Most Providence Arch orders are the standard size, and the Providence Arch two-line lawn plaque is the layout with both a number line and a street line. It’s scaled for a yard where the sign sits a normal distance from the sidewalk or street. The bronze sample in the photo reads 8749 Bayshore Blvd. in a decorative typeface.
What each line holds
Line one takes up to five characters at 3 inches tall. Line two takes up to 17 characters at 1.25 inches, so most street names fit in full. Spaces and punctuation count toward the 17. If a long name won’t fit, abbreviations such as Blvd. or Ave. keep it within the limit. Both lines come out of the mold as raised lettering, part of the plaque itself.
Six finishes on the Providence Arch two-line lawn plaque
This size offers Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Black/Silver, Bronze/Gold, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Pewter/Silver. Oil Rubbed Bronze is the one extra finish you won’t find on the estate Providence. Bronze/Gold, as shown, is the traditional pairing; Black/Gold or Black/Silver reads best from a moving car.
Material and warranty
The Providence Arch two-line lawn plaque is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum, so it won’t rust. It’s protected by an all-weather coating with a five-year warranty. Since a Providence Arch two-line lawn plaque is cast to your text, there’s no touching it up later, which also means the lettering stays crisp.
Double-check the number and the street spelling before ordering; personalized orders can’t be modified, cancelled or returned. Also count the characters on both lines, including spaces, before you settle on the wording. If your house sits well back from the road, the estate Providence Arch has taller lettering. You can see both under lawn address plaques, or look at the wall-mounted address plaques for a house-mounted version.
