Many families hang a memorial where they’ll pass it daily: by the back door, on the garage, or on a wall in the garden. The Wilmington memorial wall plaque is made for exactly that. “In Memory Of” is cast into the plaque in a decorative lettering style, and two lines hold the name and years you choose.

Text limits on the Wilmington memorial wall plaque

The first line takes up to 17 characters and the second up to 14, both at 1.5 inches. A full name and a span of years is the usual arrangement, as in the photo honoring Patrick Zanitsch, 1963-2023. Because the lettering is cast rather than applied, it won’t chip, fade, or come loose.

Green/Gold and four other finishes

The photo shows Green/Gold, a green background with gold lettering. The other choices are Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Dark Bronze/Gold, and Pewter/Silver. Each is finished with an all-weather coating and backed by a five-year warranty. The Wilmington memorial wall plaque itself is cast in the USA from recycled aluminum, so it will not rust even on a north-facing wall that never quite dries out.

A word on returns

Every Wilmington memorial wall plaque is cast to the text you submit, so personalized orders can’t be changed, cancelled, or returned once placed. Please proofread carefully and confirm the dates with the family before you order. We’d rather you take an extra day than live with a misspelling.

The lawn-mounted version of this design is available if the memorial belongs in a garden instead. For a cemetery marker or a public dedication in solid bronze, see our memorial bronze plaques. Our plaque care guide explains how to clean each finish without harming the coating.
