For a memorial that hangs rather than stands, the Wilmington Living Eternally wall plaque offers the same decorative lettering as the lawn version, mounted flat. The words “Living Eternally” are cast into the design. Two lines are yours to fill with a name and the years, and the piece is shown here in a bronze-toned finish for Virginia Rose Grant, 1918 – 2003.
Fitting the name
You have 17 characters on the first line and 14 on the second, all cast at 1.5 inches. If a name is long, consider a first and last name only, or initials for the middle name. The years go on the second line. Once cast, the letters are part of the aluminum and won’t fade or lift.
What the Wilmington Living Eternally wall plaque is cast from
Recycled aluminum, cast in the USA. It will not rust, so it can hang on an exposed wall for years without staining. Over the metal goes an all-weather coating, and that coating carries a five-year warranty. Pick Antique Copper, Black/Gold, Green/Gold, Dark Bronze/Gold, or Pewter/Silver, depending on the wall behind it. Lighter finishes tend to show better on dark siding, and the darker ones on pale stone or clapboard.
Check the wording
Because the Wilmington Living Eternally wall plaque is personalized, it can’t be modified, cancelled, or returned after the order is placed. Read the name and dates one more time than you think you need to. If a family member has the dates written down, compare against that.
The lawn-standing twin of the Wilmington Living Eternally wall plaque, and the rest of our remembrance designs, are in the personalized plaques collection. For a grave marker or a dedication cast in solid bronze, our memorial bronze plaques are the step up.
